Delete your account

You can delete your Hugmiles account and the data we hold about you at any time.

In the app

Account deletion inside the app is being built and will appear under More, Settings, Delete account before the public launch. This page will be updated when it is live.

By email (works today)

1. Send an email from the address you signed up with to hello@hugmiles.com with the subject "Delete my account".
2. We confirm it is you (we may reply to ask a question) and delete the account.
3. We confirm by email when it is done, normally within 30 days and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, language, time zone), email and sign-in data.
• Your membership of the couple space. Your partner's space becomes unlinked and follows the normal 30-day read-only period for exporting, then the shared data is deleted.
• Anything you uploaded that lives only in your account.

Short-lived security logs are kept for a limited time and then removed. Purchase records held by Apple or Google are theirs to manage; cancel subscriptions in your store account.

Just want to leave your partner's space?

Use "Unlink our accounts" in the app. You keep your account.
